For 802.11be, currently the RU allocation for EHT TB PPDU is based on the "Table 36-34 RU Allocation subfield." It covered all user RU allocation combinations of OFDMA, and most of the non-OFDMA cases except 996+484+242-tone MRU in 160 MHz and 4x996-tone RU in 320 Mhz, so these two cases are treated specially. This procedure describes how to configure the software for these special cases.
Select "IEEE 802.11be MxN" Quick Setup.
Set Generation Mode to "EHT Trigger Based PPDU" under the "Waveform Setup" node.
Set Bandwidth to "160MHz" under the "Waveform Setup" node.
Set Non-OFDMA to "true" under the "Signal Configuration" node.
There are 8 combinations of 996+484+242-tone MRU. Select the "RU/MRU Index" under the "Signal Configuration" node to switch.
Set "Number of Transmit Chains (Ntx)" to a value > 1, such as 2.
For MU-MIMO, set "Number of Full BW MU-MIMO Users" to a value > 1 (same value as Ntx in above step) under the "Signal Configuration" node.
Set Bandwidth to "320MHz" under the "Waveform Setup" node.
Set Non-OFDMA to "true" under the "Signal Configuration" node. There is only one choice (4x996-tone RU1) for the RU/MRU Index.
